Capilla Virgen de las Arenas



La capilla está ubicada dentro de Laguna Escondida Beach & Lagoon, un exclusivo complejo de veraneo cerrado en José Ignacio; la mejor ubicación junto al mar en el Océano Atlántico en Punta del Este, Uruguay.
El masterplan incluye servicio de playa, un hotel boutique en la bahía, vista al mar rodeado de bosque, con paz campestre y serenidad lagunar.
La ermita de la Virgen de las Arenas surge como una escultura del medio natural.
La síntesis de dos manos unidas en posición de oración, compuesta por una estructura de hierro negro, planos de madera y hormigón, enmarcan la cubierta alabeada de planos reglados de la capilla. La cubierta ilumina cenitalmente el espacio a través de un lucernario abierto y el altar expone las vistas hacia la laguna.
